Use

Free-standing in the middle of the patio, as an island: thanks to the central fridge it works equally well from every side.
Cooking together: one works on the left, the other on the right, and both are the same distance from the fridge.
Pool or lounge patio where everyone can get to the drinks while the cook carries on calmly on the left or right.
Family with children who help themselves: the fridge is in the middle panel, exactly where you'd look for it first.

Material and maintenance

Hout is een natuurproduct. Noesten, nerven, kleine scheurtjes en naden zijn normaal en maken elke buitenkeuken uniek. De afwerking is anders dan bij een binnenkeuken en is gemaakt voor gebruik buiten. De Buitenkeuken VARETTI Velora 332 is opgebouwd uit tweezijdig geschaafd en gedroogd douglashout in een naturel uitvoering. Laat je het hout naturel, dan vergrijst het binnen een of twee seizoenen naar zilvergrijs. Met houtolie een keer per jaar blijft het roodbruin. Voor deze indeling geldt nog iets specifieks: de koelkast staat tussen twee kasten in en geeft zijn warmte af aan de zij- en achterkant. Bewaar kaarsen, olie en chocolade daarom aan de kant van de kast die het verst van de koelkast af ligt, want de tussenwand is de warmste plek van het hele meubel. Laat in de kasten ook wat ruimte over, zodat er lucht langs kan. De keramische tegels boven paneel 1 en 2 zijn kras- en hittebestendig en neem je af met water en een doek. Hete pannen zet je op die tegels, en op de houten strook boven paneel 3 gebruik je een losse snijplank.
